Capital Classics Theatre Company is seeking Connecticut based, non-Equity stage actors for the 2025 Greater Hartford Shakespeare Festival productions of Shakespeare’s King Lear, directed by Sasha Bratt, and Twelfth Night, directed by Brian Jennings, in repertory. Actors may be cast in both or individual shows.

Initial auditions will be by video submittal only.

Please provide a 1-minute dramatic Shakespeare monologue AND a 1-minute comedic Shakespeare monologue. Please make sure to give enough space on your video frame for full-body physicality.

Deadline for submissions is 3/30/25.

In-person call backs to be held April 13 in West Hartford, CT.

Rehearsals begin in West Hartford, CT on May 31, 2025.

Performances Wednesdays-Sundays, 7/9-8/3, 2025 on the campus of the University of Saint Joseph, West Hartford, CT.
